Phnom Penh
Just arrived in Phnom Penh (Cambodia’s capital city). The bus journey
from Sihanoukville took about 4 hours and was pretty uneventful. It
did give us a great chance to watch the countryside whisk past and see
all the paddy fields, water buffalo and roadside markets.
Jen had a nasty bout of food poisoning yesterday but she is on the
mend now as she has just finished off a sandwich and coke in a very
posh coffee house that is in the photo below. Didn’t expect this is
Cambodia!
We have found a really nice guest house in the centre of the city and
plan to spend the next few days exploring the sights.
That’s what you get for going abroad and eating their funny foreign food.
You should stick to a proper British holiday like us – eating Chinese in Spain.
Sorry to hear about Jen’s bug. Hope you are felling much better now and enjoying the sights in Phnom Penh.
Sorry to hear you were ill Jen. Hope you feel better soon.
